ABOUT H.A.R.A.

Humberside Animal Rescue was formed in 1981. It was set up to rescue, and hopefully find new homes for the many animals that find their way into our sanctuary. H.A.R.A. has given many animals new homes that have been abandoned, abused or the owner could no longer look after them.
Over a period of time, H.A.R.A . purchased a five acre site in the village of North Killingholme. This is our sanctuary base. Most of the buildings have been improved but, this has taken time and money. Volunteers were always needed to help collect money from the Top Town Centre area, so the good work can continue.
Our main aim was to provide shelter to as many animals as our sanctuary can comfortably accommodate, and to try to find new loving homes.
Our past receptionist Heidi, would help you with your enquires in person or over the telephone.
Our aim was to help you enjoy your visit to our sanctuary at all times. Please help us to help you.
H.A.R.A. was always grateful for members of the public leaving legacy’s know matter how smalll to the sanctuary, and for the goodwill and donations of companies.
Without such support, and the kind donation people make when our collectors was in Top Town and other places, we could not have given the animals the love and protection that they deserve.
